Helm App

Helm App is the web platform at app.helm.show — the cloud home for your production. It holds the project: files, tracks, tasks, calendar, team, and a shareable public page. The desktop apps (Helm Cues, Helm DJ) pair with it and sync their show data up, so everyone on the team can review the show from a browser.

The boundary is deliberate: Helm App never does live playback, timecode, or MIDI. All show-control stays on the desktop. The cloud is for everything around the show — organising, reviewing, commenting, and sharing.

Beta

Helm App is in active development. Sign-in is Google-only, and access to product builds is managed through beta licences on your account page. Expect the feature set to move quickly.

Who it’s for

• Show callers / operators — push the Cues show to the cloud, review tracks and cue lists with waveforms in the browser, drop timestamped comments for the team.
• Production managers — one project per show: files and folders, a task tracker, a calendar, team roles.
• The wider team and clients — a polished public page per project (optionally password-protected) with setlists, audio previews, media, and documents — no Helm account needed.

• The desktop app pairs once with your account (how pairing works) and then pushes its project data and media files to the cloud.
• The cloud renders that data read-only — tracks, cues, media — and adds its own collaboration layer on top: comments, tasks, calendar, team.
• Data the cloud owns (setlists/shows built in the browser) syncs back down to Cues on its next sync.
• The public page is a curated, read-only view of the project that you control block by block.

Navigation

After signing in you land on Projects. The left sidebar shows your recent projects plus a Downloads entry. Opening a project adds a project section to the sidebar: Overview, Assets, Calendar, Tasks, Team, Settings, and a Public page link that opens the live public view in a new tab.

Your account page (avatar, top right) manages licences, beta applications, and connected devices — every desktop app paired to your account, with last-seen times and a revoke button.
